Owner Jeff Grasso, opened The Hot Dog Shoppe in December of 2006 with a vision of offering a taste of New York City Hot Dogs in the Corning-Painted Post area. In addition to serving New York City style hot dogs, the Hot Dog Shoppe developed its very own, made from scratch, Coney Island Meat Sauce. The Coney Island, as we call it, is a hot dog served with Meat Sauce and fresh onions, which is often referred to as a "Texas Hot". The Hot Dog Shoppe also serves fresh sandwiches, side orders and features french fries made from fresh, never frozen potatoes.
The Hot Dog Shoppe takes pride in serving fresh food, in a clean friendly atmosphere. Most of our menu items are made from fresh ingredients on site.
